- https://www.mentalhealth.va.gov/: this website is created by the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs. It includes links to resources on specific mental health disorders including treatment options! It also contains resources for specific types of civilians and veterans alike.
- https://www.maketheconnection.net/ : this is a great site for hearing success stories by fellow veteran peers! You can even dive into specific service eras and branches making it tailored to your specific needs.
Minority Resources:
- https://beam.community/ is a resource for Black and other marginalized communities that provides programs, wellness resources, and even trainings dedicated to the “healing, wellness, and liberation” of these groups (BEAM, 2025). It can even help you find Black focused therapists and more!
- https://www.healthyamericas.org/resources helps Hispanics find resources for things such as wellbeing and mental health. It also provides information such as infographics and science backed research in each area.
- https://www.asianmhc.org/ is great for those in the Asian communities who are seeking mental health services. They also have access to community support groups and free therapy funds to those who qualify!
- https://strongheartshelpline.org/ is a “24/7 safe, confidential, and anonymous domestic, dating, and sexual violence hotline for American Indians and Alaska Natives”(Indian Health Service, n.d.).
